Privacy Policy

This site is operated by CinderLust LLC, a Nevada limited liability company. This policy describes what information cinderlust.com collects, why, and what happens to it. It is written to describe what the site actually does rather than to cover every hypothetical.
The short version
We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels. We do not set our own cookies. We do not require an account. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information. Music can be streamed and downloaded without giving us anything at all.
What we collect
Contact form
If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit. The form is processed by Formspree, which delivers the message to us by email and retains a copy in its own system. We use this only to reply to you. Formspree's handling of that data is governed by Formspree's privacy policy.
Server logs
Our host, Hostinger, records standard web server logs including IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, and timestamp. These are generated automatically for every website and are used for security and troubleshooting.
Rate limiting
To stop automated abuse of our audio streaming endpoint, we record the IP address of streaming requests in our own database along with a timestamp. These records are used only to count requests per minute and are deleted on a rolling basis.
Fonts
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, your IP address is sent to Google. We do not receive anything from that request.
What we do not collect
- No analytics or visitor tracking of any kind
- No advertising or third-party marketing tags
- No cookies set by this site
- No accounts, profiles, or passwords
- No payment or card information — we never handle payments on this site
- No record of who downloads what. Downloads require nothing from you
Links away from this site
Some links take you elsewhere — for example a charitable donation page hosted by Every.org, our Instagram profile, or a merchandise storefront operated by a third party. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's site, subject to their privacy practices, and we have no visibility into what you do there. Donations are made directly to the receiving organisation through their platform; we do not receive donor details.
How long we keep things
Contact form messages are kept as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted. Rate-limiting records are short-lived. Server logs are retained according to our host's standard schedule.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email cinderlustofficial@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; we will honour those requests regardless of where you are.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
